I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

It is more that we are transferring. I work in public service and we are moving to civil service – a different beast altogether…serving Ministers rather than the public. It calls into question my values, and why I got involved in the job I do in the first place. Looking for other opportunities.
Yes, a different beast, indeed! At least, they’re not just booting you out. I’m not religious, but I have a friend who is an amazing priest. He works with the poor and does so much to try and get addicts back on their feet. It’s none of my business, but you may want to give the new position a try?? Anyway, what you decide, I wish you the best. xo
You did well with changing jobs.

What? I’m sorry, but you’re a survivor. You’ll be all right!

When do you guys have to leave? Have they been fair with giving you enough time to find other jobs?
