I have wrens that nest very close to a lilac bush alongside a garden pathway. OMG what a lot of noise they make if you hang about near their nesting box. Enough to wake the dead.
Birdsong is good for the soul. I wake up to robins first, then the doves, the finches, the cardinals, the cackling grackles and the shrill redwing blackbirds. Love them all!
