Greta in Bristol
by Scooj
On the news that Greta Thunberg will be visiting Bristol this Friday for her school climate strike. I have given both of my children permission to protest if they wish to add their voices to the campaign. I am rather excited and will be taking an extended lunch break to protest myself.
It’s amazing what this one small person has been able to accomplish. Inspiring!

In my experience, such genuine inspiration is a rare thing.

That’s a great thing to teach children. I taught my kids to protest, that’s for sure.

I’ll look out for you, but I think the crowds will be big.

I think it might be like looking for a needle in a haystack. I will probably be over on the library side of the green.

Finally got around to taking in some of the North Street murals yesterday – and of course this one of Greta. I agree that she’s an outstanding young lady whatever the anti-protesters think.

I think it is going to be super-busy in Bristol tomorrow.

There were more people in College Green than I have ever seen there before. Estimates of 30,000.
