Doors 125 – More street art ‘memory lane’ doors
It is becoming more and more difficult to seek out new doors. The combined forces of coronavirus, the worsening weather and shortening days makes doorscursions particularly difficult at the moment, so I head straight for my comfort blanket and present you with some more archived doors this week, these ones mostly from last year.
Enjoy.
And that’s it I’m afraid this week, I am having to ration these out a bit because before you know it I will have run out of archive material and will be resorting to photographs of my kitchen cabinets and cupboard doors.
Have a great weekend.
If you have made it this far, you probably like doors and you really ought to take a look at the Norm 2.0 blog – the originator of Thursday Doors where there are links to yet more doors in the comments section at the end.

The Moon St one is a bit scary, otherwise a wondrously colourful collection.

That door often has scary pieces on it.

I reckon the door connection to that Dale Grimshaw piece is tenuous at best lol . . . 😉

Love the creative license on the van. Thanks for sharing, and there’s absolutely nothing to apologize. You definitely ain’t no SCROOJ. 🙂

I love the yellow van. Thank goodness for archives. I’m relying on mine too as we are on a six week lockdown and restricted to only five kilometers of travel. I’ll have to go on a hunt around my own small town again in search of doors I haven’t featured before.

There is a mission. There are always doors to be found.

Love your archives, Stephen. I especially like the top bakery sign, the van, and the Creative Space. We’re now addicted to “The Great British Baking Show” so bakery signs immediately catch my attention. 🙂

Thank you. I’ll be sorry when my archive runs out. I’m hoping I’ll be able to get out and about more by then.

Wow, fascinating street art. I like the bright yellow (happy) van too. My favorite is the third one down.

Good choice. That is by London artist Dale Grimshaw who specialises in these large portraits.

All impressive, Stephen. My fave is the North Street, because of its attention to details and the Wilder Street, because of its general appearance together with the three windows and the purple wall.

Thank you. Do you know I hadn’t spotted the three windows, very good.

Love that van! Hopefully we’ll all be able to get out again soon. Lockdowns are tightening again here and if they don’t get this 2nd wave under control soon we’ll be back to a full shut down.

It is the same picture here. I expect to be in full lock down in about two weeks.
