Doors 151 – A quick trip into Chichester

A couple of weeks ago I took a week off work and decided to go and visit my mother and her partner on the south coast for. I hadnโ€™t seen them for over a year and it was so good to spend time with them face to face. Of course, while I was there my mother put me to good use getting me to do some odd jobs around the house that had been building up for a while.

One such job was to drive them into Chichester and help with taking watches to be mended and buy some kitchen things in Lakeland. Of course, the opportunity to photograph some lovely doors presented itself and I took leave of my duties for five minutes to photograph these beauties. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

  1. These are great doors. The second one has a haunting quality to it. It looks almost like it belongs somewhere else. The hospital doors are quite interesting, as it the last door. We don’t see many green doors, but they stand out when we do, and of course, the capture adds to its charm.

  2. If this was only five minutes’ worth of door-photography, Chichester must be a place well worth visiting. ๐Ÿ˜€
We found a boot scrape fixed into a large concrete block, when we moved to an old house in Yorkshire, when I was a kid. Fascinating. ๐Ÿ™‚
And I’m very glad you got to visit your Mum – even if she had stored up chores for you! ๐Ÿ˜€
