7394. Lower Gay Street

There are some taggers in Bristol who are at the higher end of tagging and have a little bit more about them. I would class Weas or Weasel as one of those, and I know that he is capable of much more, but seems to enjoy tagging his character in as many places as possible.

Here, Weas has painted two separate mega tags, probably on different occasions. A pair of alien characters on the doors, and another smoking a spliff on the wall to the right. As tags go, you can really see that they are transitional towards something a little more substantial. I think that it wouldn’t take too much to move up a level, but that might not be in Weasel’s plan.

Thursday doors – 2 October 2025 – back to Marrakesh doors

Doors 326 – Doors of Marrakesh, Morocco, January 2025 (Part VI)

Things have returned to something resembling normal this week after our wonderful week away in Madeira. I have found a little time to resume with some doors of Marrakesh. These doors were photographed during a solo doorscursion in what was the only wet morning of our trip to the red city.

At first, when I look at these I think that it is all a bit repetitive, and then I see that each of these doors is unique. Nothing mass-produced here. It is as if the industrial revolution never happened. I hope you enjoy this week’s selection.

More doors (sounds Tolkeinesque) from Marrakesh next time. I wish you a happy weekend.

Doors 225 – Some gates of Bristol

A really quick one today. I had time earlier in the week to prepare some images from my archive, and I plumped for a selection of gates. All of these gates are from Bristol, none of them particularly special, but desperate times and all that…

The first gate boasts that is it the entrance to Bristol’s only camping and glamping site – I fear that they might have over-sold it a little. I hope you enjoy today’s selection:

Well that concludes proceedings for another week, I hope to have something a little more inspirational next time. May I wish you a pleasant end of week and weekend.
