Clean it up

Going for a walk?

the message is loud and clear,

clean up doggy poop.

The walk

Company of eight

spend time together in this

green and pleasant land.

No way José

When asked for a dance

I declined and turned and fled;

hoping against hope.

by Scooj.

Busy

Mind your own business

I have a great deal to do

I need to scurry.

Coming in

Ever flooding tide

always lapping at my heels

longing for the ebb.

by Scooj

Yonder window

The window is small

and only pallid fragments

of light penetrate.

by Scooj

Street raging

Anger on the streets

as domestic argument

spills out; I look on.

Web

Water beadlets lie

long after the rain has passed

suspended in time.

Perfect day

.

A stroll all alone

talking to those departed;

no longer alone.

  • Roughly once a year I visit Bracklesham in West Sussex and spend a couple of hours finding peace, looking for fossil shark teeth and remembering departed loved ones. The perfect way to recharge my batteries. Ready for the long slog to Christmas now.

Autumn

A new month begins

bringing with it a season

colourful and cold.
