In the UK we are seeing a systematic dismantling of environmental regulation, letting businesses self-regulate, and removing anything that gets in the way of economic growth. The problem is that business will bend the rules…see VW. The biggest company in Europe cannot be trusted, what about all the others. The health of our people and planet are of secondary importance behind profit and growth. What a pity.
