Not the fall mitself, but the fact that a squirrel had fallen so far, completely undamaged completely unsettled me. I guess it happens in the wild all the time…just so rarely witnessed.
I have seen it. I was shocked. I never knew squirrels were that clumsy. My friend said it happens all the time especially after the squirrels start putting on weight (after the winter). I have no idea if that is true. This was a pretty chunky squirrel.
