I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

Actually, um, it isn’t really a quote. You see, there was this movie. And it had thee’s and ye’s and the like and well it just sort of rubbed off after seeing it the night before last. Seeing your poem just sort of sparked the inspiration. There was just sort of this moment, “Look a poem of significance. It needs a ye and a thee in its comment. Yes it does.”
Still, it is nice you liked the phrasing. It gives hope to a poor, downtrodden poet. Oh the days of darkened skies …!
Fantastic!

Be not ye an observer. Eyes in fights do wander. Be not what they find, for the dam of frustration may burst, and pour upon thee.

I will expose my ignorance – I don’t know this quotation, but it is so apt and relevant, thank you.

It’s the stage you need, not a publisher.
