Ugar is a promising young artist, originally from Budapest but now living in Bristol, whose unique style of writing is getting better and better. It is the organic nature of his letters and the kind of marbelling effect he uses to fill them that stands out in his work.

This piece , which is really rather beautiful, is on the curved wall at Dean Lane and has been well prepped and uses the wall to its full potential – not all work here is afforded the same thoughtful approach. I am enjoying watching Ugar develop.
That’s the first time I’ve seen him flying solo. I’ve got a few of his but they are collabs with Kid Crayon in fact they did one in Cheltenham recently …https://urbanartalacarte.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Artist%3A%20Ugar

He has done quite a few solo pieces in Bristol, and I photographed another one in Dean Lane today. Also met Kid Crayon, Mr Draws, Nevergiveup and Dibz…a good day for painting.

I saw on KC’s FaceBook page that he was doing stuff @ the skate park this weekend but he didn’t mention anyone else

I think the others were there because it was such a nice day.

You do get pretty art work where you are. I was thinking of your posts when I walked down a cut through with Little Monkey yesterday and saw graffiti sprayed on the walls. It was simply their Tag in one colour. Very boring and it seemed much more ‘destruction of property’ than art.
