Scotomas obscure,
words disappear before me;
retinal migraine.

Oh my sympathy to you. Just reading your haiku freaks me out as I hate these migraines.
I didn’t know the word scotoma, but I get flashing zig zag lights, loss of vision, nausea and then PAIN.
I hope you soon recover.

It was a quick couple of episodes. I have had the type you describe a couple of times in the last few years. They are not too serious, but are alarming when they strike.

Tough one, hope it eases soon.

One experience I could do without learning first hand. Hope it passes quickly.

Perhaps more common than I thought.

Whew! Glad to hear the episode is over. What would we do if those Scooj words disappeared far too long? The blog world would be a dark and sad place. 😞

You flatter me. No fear, my average words will continue to tumble from my clumsy thoughts.
