I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

Am I reading it correctly that Ruben was lost but is now found?
I think he was worried, and did manage to find his way back to the car (according to witnesses) but when he couldn’t find my wife he went off looking for her. Lost in Leigh Woods.
Ah! 😦 I can only imagine how that felt. Our bestia was missing for an hour one time too after he escaped, but in the town, not in the open. Father went to the radio to put up an ad, I searched around, and then he came home by himself. Later we learned that he crossed a busy road and went to play with a female dog on the beach. But of course.
Very worrying. If Ruben got on to roads he would not survive. He has zero road sense, and simply chases after smells and birds/squirrels. So we were lucky he was lost in a woods really.

Me too, and the whole family. Amazing how many people helped to look for him in the woods.

Such an awful feeling when they are lost! So glad it was only for an hour.

I expect he either totally enjoyed himself or was as worried as you were . . .
