I have a Virgin Media Box and so I either record a programme I want to watch and therefore watch it add free by just fast forwarding through the adverts or by pausing the programme just as it starts and then doing something for 15 minutes so I can also just fast forward though them . . . 😉

A technique I use a fair bit. Still hate it when the ads are there though.
