I feel your pain. Could be they sense the weather than we can. Although our swifts, kites, and flycatcher showed up at the beginning of May and the weather has been chilly and wet too. May be it has more to do with the prey the legions of gnats and flies and insects that have hatched since then.

I wrote a haiku called swift’s exactly 3 years ago today welcoming their arrival. It has been a wet and cold May, perhaps they will be with us soon.
