  • On a recent trip to Lyme Regis, we were treated to a Morris dancing jamboree, with some eight troupes strutting their stuff. Utterly brilliant and slightly odd.

  1. Slightly odd is somewhat of an understatement.Years ago I tried to explain it to a work colleague who had visited the U.K. on vacation. She listened in disbelief as to why grown men ould wear funny outfits with bells at their knees etc. It was an uphill struggle.
