Well, I figured it has been quite a while since I last posted a Hemper piece, so here is a reasonably new one for good measure. Of course, it is a beautifully crafted piece of graffiti writing, with great letter shapes and a cool colour palette.

I don’t know where these writers get their inspiration from, but their unwavering high quality is just something else. In this piece Hemper spells out the letters HEMS, each letter with a different colour combination. A couple of arrows and stars finish off the piece nicely. I always look forward to finding these, there is something just a bit special about them.
It does stand out. Lovely 🙂

That’s two misidentifications in two days. Perhaps I should hang up my boots!

If it’s any consolation I made exactly the same mistake . . . 😉

It makes me realise that even when I think I absolutely know something 100% I’ve still got to do a little detective work instead of assuming . . .

I tend to get lazy, but the tunnel (not Pl8o) one really perplexed me. I thought I had it wrong at the time of posting and deliberated for a long while. I think the emotional brain took over because I wanted it to be by him rather than being certain that it was by him. Always learning.

I think it’s easy to see certain shapes and flows that our brain recognises and we pretty much unconsciously accept it as opposed to studying each piece in detail and using our conscious brain to then make a valued decision . . .
