4386. Brunel Way (153)

In the last couple of weeks we have seen the RBF crew hitting the streets quite hard, and the great news about that is we get to see a whole new load of portraits from Pekoe. This fresh piece is an absolute beauty, and although I sometimes struggle with column pieces from a photography perspective, this one is quite awesome.

The colours are so fresh and vibrant – I could still smell the paint – and the protrait most serene. The black background and yellow border help to mark out the face, and demonstrate why it is a good idea to take the time to create a decent backdrop to pick out the central piece.

Look out for more from my favourite Pekoe.

I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.
