With the number of insects in severe decline this makes a welcome sight, although probably not for the ragwort . . .

Agreed – this year has been a much better year for insects – my garden has so many more moths and butterflies than normal (recent normal).

We need our insects in the UK, we have had terrible declines in invertebrates over the last few decades.
