This is the fourth piece from a collaborative wall, that offers a masterclass in wildstyle graffiti writing. A group of artists, from Cardiff I think, joined Hemper and Turoe to create this magnificent ‘gallery’, heralding a fresh start to 2026. The stunner was painted by Karmone, who has appeared in Natural Adventures a couple of times before, but is far from a regular.

The letters spell MRAK, which is KARM backwards. Every part of this writing oozes class, confidence and expertise. The letter shapes are disguised enough to make reading slightly tricky. The wonderful complementary colours transition perfectly with some clever techniques and devices being used. There is a great drop shadow bounded at the bottom with a fine pulsing yellow line. Even the dark grey background has subtle patterns, raising it above the ordinary. A lovely piece from Karmone.

Following on from the previous post, this piece by Karmone was painted during the same paint jam. Karmone is an occasional visitor to Bristol, from his home in Wales, and through his connections with Bristol artists, is invited to paint jams from time to time. As I always say on Natural Adventures, it is a constant pleasure to be able to welcome visiting artists to share their talent on our walls, adding to the mix.

Karmone has, like the others, followed the convention of colours for the collaborative wall, and added a sprinkling of orange and grey to liven up the base of the piece with some interesting yin-yang spherical designs. His letters are exceptional, spelling out KARM, with tidy fills and mid lines. The arrangement of the letters and the 3D shadows cast give them a great deal of depth and dynamism. Some great work from Karmone.

I think I have Paul H to thank for pointing out this piece. I don’t often venture to this area because usually is is littered with tags and throw ups that I have little interest in, but this outstanding collaboration by Sled One, Karmone and Smak, proves that it is always worth taking a look everywhere.

The piece is sited underneath the railway bridges on Stapleton Road, but cannot be seen from the road, which is probably why I missed it. To the left is something so incredible it is difficult to describe. The fire extinguisher character is Sled One at his most awesome, and it reminds me of a piece he painted way back. I’ll see if I can locate it and pop it in at the end of the post. Sled One’s complete mastery of his trade is something to admire and enjoy.

Fortunately, the accompanying writing by Karmone and Smak are of such high quality that they comfortably sit alongside Sled One’s work. Both pieces of writing are of the highest quality and ooze class. Overall, this is one of the best collaborations of the year, and there is some very stiff competition indeed. Once again it makes me feel very lucky to live in a city where such talent is on display, for free, for citizens, every day of the week.
