“Halcyon” is one of those words that just evokes such good feeling. It also slides right off the tongue. Great photo! I hope the fish was returned to the water though.
The fish, a fine barbel, was returned to the water about 25 years ago after a river survey. I believe halcyon is ancient Greek for kingfisher, and indeed the genera name for the kingfisher family is halcyon.

I did not know that. We have kingfisher birds around here. I wrote a haiku about one earlier in the year.
