Oh dear! Poor little rat. We are very familiar with those twitches in their sleep, but ours have to be satisfied with mock-wildlife games.

She doesn’t do it often, but round here we are prone to rat infestations, so I am pleased she is doing a job.

Infestations are different. We had one in our backyard once at our old house in the city. We trapped it and relocated it to a nice wood. (We tried lots to lure it, and finally, it was a carrot-muffin that it could not resist.)
