You mean as the reason I would have that response? I suppose I am aware that your graffiti images are mostly in such areas, but it was your initial words that brought the homeless to mind. (If the reply was rhetorical, please disregard this.)
It is, isn’t it? I’m not trying to be clever at the minute. It’s just January. By February I hope to be back to me witty, punny self, but that will depend greatly upon how much chocolate I eat. 😉
Needs some cardboard. Sleeping directly on cement is not good for you. I knew some guys in San Fran who told me that.I look at everybody to make sure they are still breathing. Hypothermia can happen.

It might be that the places I go to photograph street art are also places where the underclass exist…maybe.

I’m glad you knew straight away – it is difficult to get the balance right between the obvious and cryptic/metaphorical sometimes.
