I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

I feel your pain, mate. Hopefully, you have access to better public transportation than most of the States.
I use my broom most of the time — so energy efficient! 😀 Seriously, I’m sorry for your troubles… anyway, aren’t you mostly on trains traveling here and there for work?
We pay a heavy price for owning a car (which is not a bad thing if we consider the damage they cause). Parking, fuel, tax etc. The public transport system is patchy and can be quite pricey too.

I feel like I have lost something, but buses and cabs have partially filled the void. Now to look at another loan!

Cars and houses, we want them, but they’re more trouble than they are worth.

Give ma a (warm) cave and sturdy shoes and retirement. That’ll sort it all out.

I’d imagine what a pill having a car would be in the cities there. Don’t you pay for parking it? England’s transit system is excellent, I hear.
