I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

  1. That’s 19,240 British casualties plus (so Wikipedia tells me) 1,500 French servicemen and over 10,000 German. My brain retreats before getting anywhere near imagining carnage on that scale. The artwork is a powerful reminder.
