I’m glad this is not a reflection of how you feel. Mind you, I’ve definitely had years where I just wasn’t “feeling” Christmas.

Comes across in two ways – you don’t like kids or you’ll miss kids who will be going away for Christmas.

They are staying, and I love them. I am at work however until Christmas Eve as is my wife, which makes thus a very tricky period to manage.

Oh yes! I remember those times, our friends used to babysit while we had all theirs round – often on Christmas day when they wanted to snooze.
