Your photograph perfectly reinforces your poem, Stephen. The last word struck me. That’s a word that politicians whisper amongst each other, and then invoke fear to mask greedy, cold hearts.

Rose, I fear we are entering a very tough period ahead, globally. Those with compassion must rise up and show what kindness can do.
