I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

You really have inspired me to start seeing things in a different way at least some of the time and for that I am eternally grateful . . . Have yourself a great day . . .

I am touched and honoured. I started blogging only a couple of years ago, and the street art followed on from my walks around Bristol. No agenda, just set off and explore and absorb what you see. The world looks very different when you look. The haiku are part of that awakening.

I’m a Bristolian and have watched the rise of ‘Street Art’ from it’s humble beginnings to where it is now. Bristol is such a very cool place to live in so many different ways. Haiku whilst not new to me hasn’t particularly interested me until I started reading yours though. I find myself counting syllables and lines so often and have even woken up thinking in Haiku lol . . . Unfortunately by the time I’m properly conscious the total brilliance of the dream has totally faded away but I’m hoping to capture one soon . . . 😉

I know the exact thing very well. I once composed a symphony in a dream…woke up and couldn’t even remember the melody. I think in syllables too.

Hmm… not the sharpest tool in the shed, huh? 😀 I’m joking; we all know your brilliance.
