- On the news that the last male northern white rhinoceros was put down yesterday he is survived by his daughter and granddaughter. His passing is a loss that is emblematic and the world will feel a little bit less complete. A sad day indeed.

I saw this yesterday, and was just about to write on it.
News recently, that Trump has surreptitiously reinstated laws enabling trophy hunters to ship elephant parts back into the U.S. He won’t stop until he’s killed everything on the planet. He is a detestable man.
