This is truly beautiful. It puts me in mind of The Faerie Queen. We have no “ancient” woodlands here; it must be very inspiring. I have ferns in my garden. Just a few years old tho.ππ±

I agree. It is an ancient woodland on my sister and brother in lawβs farm in Cornwall. So tranquil.

These ancient woodlands are not common. Most are managed to some degree. This one has just been left alone.
