Love it, Scooj. I’m also a dreadful procrastinator. I am trying to turn myself into a woman of action, but procrastination wraps around me like a warm blanket and lulls me to sleep. I have come to understand that fear of making mistakes and a need for perfection are at the base of much of my procrastination. That came to my attention only through watching my kids freeze up. I’ve also found that much of my writing wouldn’t exist if I just got on with the job.
Hope you’ve had a good week. We’re in drought here but the rain’s been bucketing down all week and I’ve barely ventured out since our pointe shoe expedition. It seems like Noah’s ark territory outside.
Best wishes,
Rowena

I work in drought communications ( amongst other things). It is a truism that most good droughts end with a good flood (not that there is anything good about either).

Yes, they had a farmer on the news last night who had missed out on the rain, just to remind people that just because we’d received a heavy downpour, the drought was still a huge concern. Also, talked about the need for regular rain with a good soak. They’re really needing financial assistance out there and needing to keep up awareness of the drought.
