Nice haiku. April 12th is a special day for me to remember someone too.
You never know when those emotions can strike you. I have had chronic insomnia since my mom’s death and much of it is visions of her lady days. It’s not easy.

These are difficult things to deal with. We miss them every day, but learn to live with the loss I think.
