  2. Here’s a bit of history: My dad was an umpire at the Gloucester County Cricket ground for a couple of years. Ken and Tom Graveney two brothers who played for Gloucester owned and operated a catering business. I worked for them as 2nd Chef in the Bristol Council House Cafeteria for about a year after returning from France where I trained as a Commis de Cuisine.
    My dad was a great story-teller and I loved to listen as he talked about W.G. Grace hitting a ball for six which hit the pavilion clock. Memories!
