Doors 91 – Llangorse Lake, Wales
Last weekend we made a trip across the Severn Estuary to see some friends who recently moved to Wales. This was our first visit, and I am sure not our last. After lunch we went for a walk along the southern bank of Llangorse Lake and, of course, I managed to turn the whole thing into a bit of a doorscursion. I hope you enjoy these doors as much as I did.
Next week I will probably do a round up of my favourite doors of 2019, but until then, I wish you all a fabulous week.
In the meantime, you might like to take a look at the Norm 2.0 blog – the originator of Thursday Doors where there are links to yet more doors in the comments section at the end.

Some terrific finds here so oh yes indeed, please do spend more time in Wales 😉
That side door from St. Gastyn’s is so beautiful; the weathering, the faded colour, and especially the hardware, wow. This one has it all – bravo.

Thanks, on setting out for the walk I had no idea we would come across such fine doors.

Wales, it brings immediately sober and quaint images as well to mind. What I notice is that all the doors here are definitely more narrow than her in the USA. Beautiful specimens. Have a great December month.

Great finds, Stephen! The bird hide is an attractive and unique building, great door aside. A profitable doorscursion.

Amazing door finds, Stephen. My favorite is the abandoned farm house, though the Prince of Wales bird hide is a close second. I really enjoy the angles in your photos.

Thank you, the bird hide was a special and peaceful place, but a little on the chilly side.

Oooh, these are just marvellous. This doorscursion was waiting for you to happen. I like the bird hide door especially (and the expression, “bird hide”).
