Put in a natural pond which will keep down the majority of pests organically

It is hard work, on a steep slope, Bristol clay… claggy in winter and concrete in summer. But so nice to be up there again and rewarding too.

It sounds you could do with some fairly serious soil improver which should help no end

Sounds about right. The most worked beds aren’t so bad, but at the moment they are all under grass and weeds!
