Civilizations crumble from within long before they’re vanquished. And so do gardens 🙃
Depression is tough. Prescribed medication can sometimes help if there is a chemical imbalance. Someone very close to me has been helped by medication.

Actually it is an oblique reference to depression. Someone very close to me is suffering.

We all have to listen to the ‘Black Dog’ bark throughout our lifetimes but hopefully we learn to hear that bark differently as we get older . . .

People often say to people who are feeling depressed to “snap out of it”. If only it was that simple.
