Ha-ha! This one brought a smile to my face. Years ago ( before 1964) I worked as a waiter at a restaurant/coffee bar named the Bali on Union Street. One of the items on our menu was Spaghetti Bolognaise. I think we charged bout 3 shillings and 6 pence or a plate prepared by our hef Dereck.. Memories Una straccio e bicheri on manicco per favore

I wonder if the Bali restaurants still exist. There used to be one half way up Park street on the lefthand side and another in the Horsefair.
