I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

I had very real flu two years on the trot.
Was so very unwell for my birthday, Christmas and New Year.
After that they offered me the jab.
That was probably 20 years ago now and I’ve had it every year since.
Anyone that has had the real flu knows that they never want it again and luckily I haven’t.
I got it really badly in Jan/Feb 2015 – four weeks off work and tinnitus for four years. On the upside, I used the time off in bed to start Natural Adventures.
Congratulations
Many people never get there . . .

My first one. My mother nags me every year and this year the NHS nagged me.

Always good when a positive outcome (starting this blog) comes from a negative situation

As a healthcare provider, my employer requires that I get one every year. Can’t remember the last time I had the flu.

That’s a good sign. I am sure this is the first of an annual pattern.
