Doors 218 – Bristol street art and graffiti doors
I am running a workshop in London today, so I prepared this post last night. All the doors in this post have previously been posted in my graffiti/street art category, but this is the first time for Thursday Doors. The doors were first posted in June 2022. Enjoy:

So much street art to enjoy in Porto.
So there we have it for another week. May I wish you all a happy weekend.
If you have made it this far, you probably like doors, and you really ought to take a look at the No Facilities blog by Dan Anton who has taken over the hosting of Thursday Doors from Norm 2.0 blog. Links to more doorscursions can be found in the comments section of Dan Anton’s Thursday Doors post.

In as much as I like the colourful Bristol streetarts, I particularly like the last Porto door with its light tone.

That is an incredible piece by Vhils, who creates his pieces in relief by drilling out the render on buildings. No paint involved.

These are amazing doors. The large mural on the side of the building is incredible. I can’t imagine painting that. Actually, I can’t imagine painting any of them, but…

These artists are incredibly skilled, and rather overlooked by the museum/gallery/critic fraternity.

I’ve only seen them working one time, painting the walls of an underpass. I was amazed at the scene they chose and their ability to pull it all together.

Some amazing art work on display, as usual. I really like that first one but wish the entire head were viewable.

I agree, Irony (the artist) is teasing us. He is quite one of the best UK artists at the moment.

A very nice selection, but my favorites are the ones from Porto, Portugal.

Thank you, I’ll have to find a way of weaving in some fishing, to include another passion!
