I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

  1. In all honesty a lazy haiku is a haiku written in English following the 5-7-5 syllable rule. It’s a Japenese form meant strictly to be written in Japanese. So I wouldn’t sweat it Scooj 😁

    1. Although sonnets can be written in any language if they follow certain conventions of meter and sentiment.

For the Japanese the syllables are interesting, because all letters of the alphabet are made up of a consonant and a vowel – ka ki ke ko ku, for example, so their word structures are quite different from English. I shan’t sweat it at all.
