Stunning statue, but the setting is so deceptive. I had a viewmaster as a child (those funny binocular things that projected 3D views through the eyepieces), and one of the discs we had, rather randomly was of Copenhagen, and the Mermaid was one of the photographs. It was so embedded in my memory that it was most fulfilling to see it for real.
