Red weather warning
shrieking mobile devices
one helluva shock
.
by Scooj
- At some point I must have signed up to weather alerts (although it looks like this might have been a central government pushed alert), and while I was just finishing up my work, all my mobile devices went nuts with a very loud alarm – I didn’t know that level of volume was even possible. It seems we might be in for a very windy night.
Stay safe, Stephen. Sending prayers!

Oh know! I was wondering how Bristol was, stay safe, it’s finally calming down here and our electric has just come back since midday yesterday. I’ve enjoyed candlelight and being off grid 🕯️

Here in Bristol, I think we avoided the worst of it. Definitely no power cuts.

BBC makin’ me feel like bad news is my fault. Now they’re tryin’ to panic me about mother nature and the weather…….

Here in the West it’s getting very draughty, my greenhouse is creaking and the whistling wind is nuts. That alarm was a big surprise!

Understatement. I was momentarily confused. Lucky I wasn’t driving.

We had an “Amber Alert” (missing or abducted child) yesterday afternoon. Same deal- in the living room 3 phones, two laptops, and a tablet were all screaming like demons!

I wonder if anything untoward happened to anyone as a direct result of the incredibly loud and unexpected Govt alarm sent to millions of devices without warning . . .???
