Dog house

I don’t want a dog;

Thirteen

Can it really be

the next stage in life.

Spiny spider crab

Fine decorations

adorn a tough carapace;

king of camouflage.

Passive

Rod on the rod-rest

baited hooks on the bottom;

waiting for a bite.

  • Fishing in Cornwall for a couple of days.

I remember

.

Not a day goes by

when I don’t spend a moment

thinking about you.

Redland Court succession

Once a fine manor

then a school for young ladies

soon to become flats.

Fog

.

Caterpillar train

cocooned in a yellow mist;

countryside obscured.

Grey day

Damp air invades me

extinguishing any fire

or optimism.

  • I’m fine by the way…just wanted to capture a mood.
