I feel like I have posted so many Logoe pieces over the last eighteen months or so, that I don’t really need to say too much, in fact can’t say too much that I haven’t said before – to summarise; script writing, great colour palette and horizontal strip of oval dots adding interest.

I suppose that what is slightly different about this chrome writing is that the letters are a bit fatter than of late, and there are a rather nice couple of underlines incorporated into the piece. Some great shout-outs to Haka, Tes (Slim Pickings), Kush and Silent Hobo, accompany the piece. More to come from Logoe’s most recent Bristol blitz.

Logoe has been back in town and that can only mean one thing… lots of new pieces painted over a couple of days, liberally sprinkled in a variety of spots around the city. This is the first of his new batch I am posting, so expect a few more over the coming weeks.

Written in rather attractive colours, the beautiful script letters flow effortlessly across the wall at the end of the tunnel. There is a rather nice series of peaks at the top of the letters, and an ellipsis at the start of the word Logoe. No recent Logoe piece is complete without a spread of oval spots running along the length of the piece. Great to have him visit again.

I’m not quite sure how it happened, but this piece and another one somehow got stuck in my publishing conveyor belt. Human error, of course, but I have managed to recover the mistake and bring you something a little different from Logoe, painted back in January.

Logoe’s letters are usually in a rather scratchy script form, but for a change he has presented us with fat, nicely rounded letters. Perhaps he was having a Rubensesque moment. The signature feature of a scattering of colourful oval dots in a horizontal row identifies the piece as one of Logoes (which of course the writing does too). Very nice to see something a bit different.

The last couple of visits to Bristol by Logoe have resulted in only two or three pieces, which is worth mentioning, because typically we get to see a rash of five or six per visit. This piece was painted over the Christmas holiday period, I think, and bears all thee hallmarks of a great piece of Logoe writing.

The colours are suitably subtle, and the palette nicely worked out. The dots are rather different in so much as they are running in vertical rows rather than the customary horizontal splash we usually see. The letters ‘Logoe’ are really nicely written, but if I am perfectly honest, slightly masked by number and size of dots. Another fine piece of writing.

For once, Logoe came to Bristol and dropped only one piece, as far as I can make out. I believe he might have visited with his Mrs, whose piece lies next to this one. That is speculation based on second-hand information, and since Logoe has no social media presence, it is difficult to confirm one way or the other.

Not only am I late in posting this sensational Halloween piece, but I think that Logoe was late in painting it. This has all the ingredients of a top piece of writing, with Logoes characteristically slim script letters on a fiery background and festooned with a band of colourful ovals. A rather cute ghost character tops off the piece beautifully. A great Hlloween festival piece from Logoe.

Yet another fine piece of script writing from Logoe, painted during something of a marathon by the artist on his most recent trip to the city. There is little more that I can say about his pieces that hasn’t already been said.

One thing that has been missing from this feast of work is the incorporation of song lyrics slapped over a corner… maybe he just didn’t allow himself enough time to do them. In a way, his pieces look cleaner without the lyrics, but in another way, they do add interest. I think that I have one more from this session to share, and there was another that was painted over before I had a chance to photograph it. I’m sure there will be more the next time Logoe hits town.

Another Logoe piece from his recent blitz of Bristol, this time at the entrance to the St Werburghs tunnel. I don’t know how long Logoe was in Bristol on his latest visit, but he managed to paint at least five or six pieces, and must have been churning them out at a staggering rate.

One of the clever things about Logoe’s work is his colour schemes, where his selections are carefully thought out. Here he gives us a palette of yellows, greens and turquoise which work beautifully together. There are still more pieces to come from this trip.

4753. M32 Spot (433)

The third in a rash of Logoe pieces from his recent visit to Bristol, this piece is on the container under the M32 and a surface that Logoe has painted before. I think that, with their corrugated sides, containers must be very difficult to paint, but Logoe has done a fine job of it here.

What really seems to help with this piece is the black background, which removes any distractions. As we would expect, the piece consists of Logoe’s own brand of script writing accompanied by an array of different sized dots liberally dispersed horizontally along the piece. I would love to see if Logoe could paint dome different letters and switch things up a bit, only because I know it would look amazing.

The starburst of pieces by Logoe on his most recent visit to Bristol, are a welcome injection of diversity for our walls, and this time he has spread his wings, hitting more spots than usual, including this ramp in the Dean Lane skate park.

I scarcely need to describe the writing, or indeed the typical decoration that goes with it, other than perhaps to highlight the fine colour selection of gold letters on a pink background festooned with pink, yellow, grey and purple oval dots. He includes a nice shout-out to TES, Haka and Silent Hobo, none of whom, I assume, were available to paint with him on this visit.

It is a joyful thing when Logoe comes to town, because he doesn’t imply come and paint one piece, oh no, he absolutely sweats it out with several pieces over a weekend. These blitzes have become a bit of a highlight or interruption in the steady flow of new work that we see every week in the city.

This is the first of several wonderful pieces of graffiti writing by Logoe that I will be sharing over the next month or so, all painted over one weekend. Logoe has painted a real beauty of one of my favourite walls, showcasing his distinctive thin script letters spelling out his name in beautifully complementary colours, finished with a horizontal splash of little oval dots running through the whole piece. It is so good that he keeps returning to Bristol to share his talent with us all.
