I haven’t posted nearly enough work by Rudini Doodini over the years, mainly because he hasn’t painted very often. He used to paint small characters under the name of Morph, some of which I posted a few years back. This is one of the larger pieces I have seen which was painted alongside Wxttsart and Mind 49.

The letters WHO are interspersed with three stylised characters looking like they mean business. There are some great colours in the piece and the composition works very nicely. I hope that this early New Year piece signifies more activity from Rudini Doodini in 2024.

I knew that upgrading my mobile phone was a good idea, not just because my old one was becoming a liability, but because the new one has a camera with the capability of going slightly wide-angle, without distorting images too much. At last I have a better chance of capturing those pieces painted in narrow spaces. This collaboration is one such piece.

Wxttsart and Rudini Dudini have joined forces to create this beautifully book-ended graffiti writing piece. The characters at each end of the writing are by Rudini Dudini, and are conducting some form of martial art… Krack!!

The cartoon-style characters are fairly typical of Rudini Dudini’s work and are playing out a story. The characters in blue are fighting off the attackers in grey and guarding the writing in the middle.

Which brings us on to yet another stunning piece of stylised calligraffiti writing by Wxttsart, spelling as you would expect ‘MILK’. This really is an exceptionally well executed piece with loads of texture and interest in the letters. From where I sit, he is just getting better and better.

This is another piece by an artist I have called Morph, because that is how he signs most of his pieces, however, his Instagram handle is Rudini Doodini, so I’m not too sure what to actually call him. I think I’ll stick with Morph, because it is shorter.

The theme is not an unusual one for street artists, a pig in a police outfit, and is rather nicely done. The shading from left to right works well, using lighter and darker colours to give the impression of light coming from the left of the piece. A nice quick one from an artist who doesn’t seem to stray too far from this area.
