  1. Sorry, Scooj — I happen to love that flies do well in eating garbage and decay (nature’s own garbage collectors). Maggots do their fine job, too. Now, if you’d written about mosquitoes, well, that would be a different story. ❤

      1. Actually the haiku is somewhat sympathetic to the fly, kind of recognising its undeserved bad reputation. It was inspired by the picture of an unusual print, in a shop I walk past often, that displayed flies. A curiosity.
