I have been aware of this wonderful Andy Council horse for some time now, but was never quite sure where it was. I actually found it when taking pictures of some other works from Upfest that were a bit of a trek away from the main drag.

I love murals, especially ones painted on the sides of buildings – they are large and thus eye-catching, reflect a lot of artistry and skill, and are visible and accessible for everyone to see. And some have layers of intricacy, like this one by Andy Council……..various points of urban interest blended into an animal form. So COOL!
