Tracking through my archives I found this piece by Decay. I thought that I had posted it, but it seems I had not, so here for the first time I bring you a piece which was sprayed during a bit of a Decay frenzy, shortly after he had arrived in Bristol.
This piece is quite different from most of his other work. The colour regime is typical, but the composition is something else. Usually Decay works with concentric rings of graded shades working out from the centre (although they are sprayed from the outside in – I think) and topped off with a smiley face. None of that here. This is a one-off.
I like this work, even though it reminds me of a duck.

Technically I don’t think they are legal, but the whole Bearpit area has been given over to citizens through various projects. Legality there is a little ambiguous. Nobody enforces or stops artists spraying. However every now and then taggers come and spray over everything. Down there you live by the sword and you die by the sword.

Strangely enough I too see a duck or perhaps a loon. Maybe he was limited by the space. He usually does larger pieces.

His early Bristol pieces were on these small frames while he got established. Then he did larger walls. He has recently returned to these small boards.

This was an old piece – I think he has moved on to his concentric abstract patterns. It will be interesting to se if he ever starts to do some ‘real’ things.
