Thank you. The picture was opportunistic. Some leaves in the garden after the rain. A small window of opportunity before the water drops got disturbed.
Loved this! It’s quite a paradox, isn’t it — that decay gives birth to life? Stunning. Did you find the words before the photo or was it the other way around?
Thanks Rose, photo first this time. I saw the perfect leaf in the garden whilst escorting the pup to poop, unfortunately he stood on the leaf and the pattern was gone. I found these other ones and photographed them straight away. The haiku came later.
