This piece is actually not really on Brunel Way, but is in the Cumberland Basin where the Brunel Way bridge/flyover begins. And who should pop up here but Pekoe, who until a couple of weeks ago was completely under my radar.

This piece, in doodle style, is actually really nicely presented and has a great balance of bright colours and squiggle elements to make up a fine portrait. I am new to her work, but I am enjoying what I see and look forward to finding more of her pieces in Bristol.
You are not new to her work. You have walked past it many times in the past and she did a collab as part of MBG @ Upfest last year with Sleven and DNT … https://urbanartalacarte.blogspot.com/2017/09/street-art-by-pekoe-3-upfest-2017.html also … https://urbanartalacarte.blogspot.com/2015/08/street-art-by-pekoe-work-in-progress.html I actuall had a chat with here when she did this one if you scroll down you will see her at work

… and I still haven’t managed to get down to Bristol yet but I did take advantage of a GWR offer and did a swift day trip to London today. Only had time for a quick whizz around Camden and Shoreditch / Brick lane area

Well done for getting to those areas. I believe there is quite a lot of good new work there.

You are right. I have since written but not published about her Upfest piece, although I didn’t know it was a collaborative work with Mr Steven and DNT. Will edit my post now. Thank you. Her pieces are everywhere. My eyes have been shut. It is so hard to keep on top of all this.
